Who Am I And Why Do I Care?

I am a consumer advocate, writer, and licensed mortgage planner who resides in Denver, Colorado -  USA.  

In 2006 I began receiving an increasing number phone calls from people who were referred to me looking for answers to their delinquent home loans.  Loans in default are nothing new but the sheer number of calls I received staggered me.  The calls came from people of all walks of life and income levels.  Having a decade of professional experience assisting homeowners in distress I was eager to help.  I was able to successfully assist most of those homeowners who contacted me early on.  But as the real estate market nationwide began flattening out answers became harder to find.  Then as foreclosure statistics started climbing to near-record levels I realized I needed new answers.

In an effort to provide the answers I needed for my clients I searched the internet for foreclosure help information.  Sadly, I found that over 90% of all foreclosure-related websites were geared towards helping opportunistic real estate investors who buy foreclosure properties - not information helping desperate homeowners keep their homes.  In fact, I found relatively few foreclosure sites dedicated toward helping the homeowner - and none of them comprehensive. 

I decided to research and create my own resource directory to help people stop foreclosure and avoid the growing number of scammers and crooks that were cashing in on desperate homeowners.  By December of 2006 I had completed writing the original book that was placed on the market in February of 2007.  After its creation I was amazed and overwhelmed by the response that it received.  It seemed like the information really touched a delicate nerve for homeowners that had experienced the horrors I wrote about.  After realizing the importance of the information I had I decided in May 2007 to share this information with everyone FOR FREE.
